Meditations from Psalms 119

MEDITATIONS FROM PSALMS 119

The persons who are qualified to read these meditations and benefit most are those who are washed with the blood of Jesus Christ. The command for them is this: If you are washed with The Blood of the Son of God, then walk in obedience to The Word of God by being led by the Holy Spirit.

The grace of Our redeemer has enabled me to write the following meditations from the book of Psalms. One can purpose to work hard and meditate daily on these scriptures daily for one month. I believe they are going to build the Body of Christ in the most holy faith.

 DAY 1

PSALMS 119:1  Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the                                      LORD.

God guarantees present and eternal blessings. Are you aware of the many spots which the world can put on the robes of the sons of God if they are not careful? Keep  your self unspotted from the world is the admonition in the book of  James 1:27. Follow the way of holiness and let your robe be washed and made white by the Blood of the Lamb (Rev 7:14). And remember this is not enough to guarantee the blessings of God because the Word says then  …. walk in the Law of the Lord.

In summary …Don’t be unclean as you try your best to walk in the Law of the Lord. Some have become bitter and their love has become cold they think being aggressive on the feeble minded is a higher level of spirituality. This is defilement. Child of God, be ye Holy as Your Father in heaven is Holy.

 DAY 2

PSALMS 119:2 Blessed are they that keep His testimonies and that seek Him with the whole heart.

God requires seriousness and totality. He either has the whole of your heart or none at all. That is the policy of God. This is because He is sovereign. Keep His testimonies as far as you presently know. But this does not make you to reach to the blessings  which are mentioned here. He also commands that you seek the Lord  as you keep His testimonies. To seek means, “you don’t know when and how  to find Him”, but you keep on seeking until you find Him. Amen. Some of our brethren have stopped without finding Him and have missed great blessings. Seek and you will find, is the guarantee of the Rock of ages. Remember you might find Him in the next corner which is called .. “Whole heart”. Until you reach there you should never be deceived to stop. For I found Him there. It is not easy to know when your whole heart is involved, but you will know when you find Him.  Just before you reach that corner there is  a shot-cut called “Fasting” and it really assists one to find the Father and have a permanent impact with Him.

  DAY 3

PSALMS 119:3.  They also do no iniquity: they walk in His ways

The word they here speaks of the brethren above, who are whole heart-seekers of the LORD. They are reminded that the keeping of the testimonies of God and seeking Him are only relevant if the revelation of the way of holiness is made a fact in the practical life of a believer. They do no iniquity. The word “iniquity” here means primarily the worship of idols in any form or fashion. They have sanctified the Lord in their hearts. They walk in His ways…. Not in only one way, but have known that the ways of the Lord are many and are not as the ways of man. For example, His various ways of reaching the lost, His ways of answering prayers etc.
